Reporting into HR Director, we are searching for a team member to join us as Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager, Human Resources.

What you will be doing
As a vital part of our HR team, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, with the following responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Talent Acquisition: Drive recruitment efforts for Knauf Gypsum’s APAC regional and Global IT/Global function roles, strategically attracting talent to enrich our diverse teams based in Malaysia, Singapore and across the APAC region.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Create welcoming experiences for new hires and ensure smooth transitions for departing employees.
- HRIS Management: Maintain employee data within our HRIS systems, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Employment Documentation: Prepare essential employment-related documents, including contracts and letters, ensuring compliance and clarity in all employee communications.
- Payroll and Compliance Excellence: Oversee monthly payroll processing and annual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance while facilitating audits for optimal payroll performance.
- Learning and Development: Monitor and manage the HRDC fund, actively participating in grant applications to support employee development initiatives.
- Work Pass Administration: Handle all aspects of foreign employee work passes and dependent passes, ensuring smooth processing and compliance with regulations.
- Employee Engagement Advocate: Contribute to our employee engagement committee, driving initiatives that foster stronger workplace connections.
- Talent Management: Assist in coordinating annual performance reviews, talent assessments, and employee development initiatives to nurture our workforce.
- Project Participation: Engage in exciting HR initiatives and projects within the Gypsum APAC region, contributing your insights and skills to drive change.
- Ad-Hoc Administrative Support: Embrace additional tasks as they arise, showcasing your flexibility and commitment to team success.
What we would love for you to have
We’re looking for an individual who has a great attitude towards challenges, is willing to take on tasks above and beyond the norm, with the following characteristics:
- Degree (or equivalent) required in a related discipline (preferably).
- Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in a HR role, with strong operational experience especially in payroll management.
- Possess good knowledge of HR Systems such as Success Factor/ Talentsoft will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge in Malaysia Employment Act.
- Display professionalism and confidence.
- Strong accountability and drive to deliver in a fast paced / challenging environment.
- Detail-oriented.
